Film/Photo-Installation which stages the living space as social place by ways of a role play. Characters that act as psychological instances of “Love”–the act of loving–get together in flats of their close friends such as Desire, Jouissance and the Unconscious. The protagonists find their environment to be disconcerting. Can love become a form of personal resistance for them, to counter a predominant reactionary climate suspicious of everything unknown? In the installation, the characters are introduced on the underside of raised carpet sheets. If they claim their individuality in the front part of the room, they join together in the back room to form a carpet and interact in the video projection.
